    Channel Marking Project!

    Okay, we have all the necessary materials.

    We need volunteers now... please post if your able to help out Saturday morning. April 11, 2009. We will launch at KOA camp (Freeport side of SLP) Meet at the launch at 9AM I want to be on the water moving towards the area around 9:30 AM if you have a boat that's great. I'm bringing my GT as I'm sure other guys have boats as well... Please post if your going to have your own boat there.

    Saturday April 11, 2009 (Yes it's Easter Weekend)

    9AM

    KOA Launch Freeport side of San Luis Pass

    We will place channel markers from SLP to West Bay and from SLP to Chocolate / ICW area

    Who can make it?!

      Coe, what time do you think we might be able to get off the water? My family is coming in around 1:00, so I can help out until then. Let me know if someone can drop me off at the KOA around 1:00. If not, I will not be able to help out.

            I can probably drop you off, I've got to go back to Titlam Tatlum anyway.

                I think I'm going to have Cody (Blackbeard) help out. I'll more than likely be the one in the water the whole day

                      Sorry guys, that's a bad weekend for me too.

                      But I do have a question about the old KOA launch. Do you think my big Carolina Skiff can navigate that exit channel. I remember (Pre Ike) that it was pretty sanded in. Has anything changed with regards to that little channel. I remember having to hug those docks on the left on the way out...

                        You still have to I'd suggest a shallow water boat, if not you'll more than likely have to launch at Sea Isle.
