But I do have a question about the old KOA launch. Do you think my big Carolina Skiff can navigate that exit channel. I remember (Pre Ike) that it was pretty sanded in. Has anything changed with regards to that little channel. I remember having to hug those docks on the left on the way out...
You should still be able to make it through. Just keep the jack and trim up!
I opened the pic ad traced based on the dark green channel. Can you all verify it looks correct...
You'll want to stay further left at the end of the lagoon. There's a pier that's there now that doesn't show up on this map........you want to get close enough to the pier that you can almost touch it.
007 and I will be there Friday through Sunday if the weather allows, with a little break for the club party at Hooters on Friday night.
Speaking for myself only, I'll be busying myself with camp repairs, but I'd be happy to offer Blockade Runners as a place to take a break and cook some food. We've got a stove and we can fire up the pit too. Just bring your own food and you or I can cook it. - Sandy
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
Excellent. I'll probably start wrapping the PVC Friday at the house. Laura & I both have Friday off and were going to drive in as well for the meeting.
I'm out, easter weekend (saturday) is crawfish and beer at my house.

Seriously...I'm hoping to be able to get away and help out. I'm on call this upcoming week and anything can happen, so i guess I'll see saturday when I wake up and I'm not at work!

Don't be a Nancy!
If it smells like fish....you know I've been there!
