Not countin' you out at all Charles. Give me a call if you can make it.

Mudslinger, come on by. We'll be there until about 4-5pm if you get down there before then. I need you to show me the way through the bar to your place too so I can visit. - Sandy

If I can get away, I'll call before leaving League City and see if you need anything. I'm just not sure right now.

What day you planning on Monte?

It'd be nice to hook up one day in the middle of the week of long change when the wind lays down and hit 'em hard! We'd be trophy huntin fer sure.

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

Well...some friends called yesterday, and they are coming in town for the Renfest and have a condo up on Lake Conroe, so i might be going there. If I do, I will not go to the fest, but would rather go do something of the saltwater variety saturday day and possibly that night. I just don't know yet...wish the weather was chit and that would make it easy for me to choose. One thing I'm not gonna do...go to Lake Conroe, party like its 1979, and then drive back to League City. Well, I may party like its 1979, but not drive! So if I go, I'm there until Saturday morning at least.
Whats your plan now Bert? As far as fishing midweek...yes sir, we can do that and it should be getting good with this cold front. Clean up the waders, you definitely going to need them real soon!

I used to do that alot but I've gigged so much in the last 10 years a rod and reel feels strange in my hands but the waders are good to go. Surely we will find at least one good night during the long change and when we do we are going be all over 'em.

Why can't you just sleep it off at the condo, thats what a good friend would let you do.

                Good news Tom.
Tonight is predicted to be 5-10 mph North wind, thats very do-able with a new moon.
Temps in the lower 50's so dress warm.

                  Yeah, thats my plan.

I'll call Sandy Saturday and see whats up, then come on down. I think a midweek gig would be good. No crowds and it should be on !!!! I'm game!

Sandy, call me at home when you get a break at school and before Vic leaves.......I've got an idea!!
I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

Something like that sounds perfect...not to much fuss and taste great. I'll chip in $20 towards it.

I'm bringing 2 dozen chicken wings. Looks like I won't head down tonight. I'll be picking up 007 in the morning. It also looks like I'm going to have a truck load of cedar boards. I'll be available by phone after 3:35. We're goin' to get a LOT done dis weekend y'all! - Sandy
