We should get the back porch done and perhaps install the new door in the formerly missing room.

IMO, no V-Bookie needed here. Leave that to the Salty Texan.

Charles, you are always welcome out at the camp. Consider yourself invited. Heck, I still haven't met you in person yet. It would probably be a little more convenient for someone who does not live in Angleton to pick Mike up in Pasadena. (Hint, hint.) Welcome to FWE by the way.

We got a lot done today. I'll post pics with the guys on the new back porch as soon as I can download them. I'm pretty bushed right now.

Next weekend, the roof! (and hopefully a door for the bedroom.) - Sandy

what the feck is a v-bookie?

Sorry I didnt make it yesterday guys. I got to angleton to pick up the boat and ended up shooting the bull with the old man until about 4 while waiting on my buddy Chris to drop off his little girl. We got out at around 4:30 launched at Bastrop Marina and went straight to the blind. Im gonna bring your reel one day this wk when I come down there.

Cool Lance. I think I have some decoys in the garage for you. The pintail is still at the camp.

Hey Sandy, it looks like we are on this weekend for the roof. Did you get any of the facia put on last weekend? Also, do we have any drip edge for the roof?

Facia in the front is done. Facia in the back will take some modding, but I'd guess it to be something that would be much easier to do once we get the tin off. We need to cut off the ends of some of the 2X6s due to rot. We can just marry some next to it to extend them to the proper length.

I'm still not sure what drip edge is. Is that the roll of tin that Deano brought us? Gimme a call tonight. - Sandy

We don't have a pre-fab drip edge like the one Gilbert posted. (Thanks Gilbert!) But we have a long roll of tin that I'm guessing was for that purpose.

That roll is "flashing". I think that there is some drip edge already out there. It usually comes in 2" x 2" x 10' pieces.....I think that we took some out there and it's not like the one that Gilbert posted....it looks more like angle iron.
