  • Blockade Runners Weekend of 9-12,13

Well, The weather doesn't look good and the generator forecast is even more bleak.

I'll wake up tomorrow and see how it goes. Worst case scenario, we'll head down Sunday early. Gotta get something done.

Don't you know that Duck Hunting starts tomorrow?

Duck hunting or work? That is a tough one, decisions, decisions.......

Shotgun is oiled, boat is hooked up, kennel is in the truck......Oh what should I do?

OK, I got it, go duck hunting but take a fishing rod and some bait in case the ducks aren't flying.........
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Sandy, I have the gen in my truck. After I didn't hear from you by 6:00, I thought you'd blown it off, and I went to bed. Rough work day and no sleep the night before put me there. If some one would like to come by the refinery here in Houston(610/ ship channel area) and pick it up or if your going down and can meet me around 5:00-5:30 on 45 South, I'll pass it off.

Sorry, I just couldn't hang any longer.

I figured something like that happened Monte. I called around 4:30 to tell you I was running late. Had a problem with Fat Albert and had to bring him to the vet. I made it up there right at 7, got the Ugly Mudda dropped off at the mechanic. Then I went to browse at the Tractor Supply store. I found a couple things we needed there too. So the trip wasn't a loss in any way. I'll get the gen from you sometime this week.

As far as a trip today, I'm watching the weather and planning to head out if there is a break in the afternoon.

Looks like we may have a break in a few hours. I have everything ready to go if it looks good. At this point I think I'd like to launch around 6pm, have a good night out there and work at Blockade Runners on Sunday. Anyone want to come, give me a call. 979-215-1755. - Sandy

Well, it sure looks nice here now, and it's clearing toward the north. Haven't gotten any calls. No point in going alone, so I'll just put it off until tomorrow and spend some time cleaning my house. Nothing has been touched since I got back in town. If anyone wants to go, give me a call. We can hit it super early or not so early.

                        Hey Coe!!

We need to add V-Bookie into our everyday mix.

Looks like I'm heading up to Pasadena at 5:30 to pick up 007 and his two buddies, then back down to Angleton to get the boat, then out to the camp. Anybody else want to show, just lemme know. If Lance is still huntin' out there tomorrow, we might get some fresh teal on the grill.

We should get the back porch done and perhaps install the new door in the formerly missing room.

IMO, no V-Bookie needed here. Leave that to the Salty Texan.
