Who's comin' to da camp dis weeken'?
The weather looks stellar for the weekend for once and it looks like old 007 is going to take a weekend off of work. TMO will be coming out for Saturday only and VJER Vic should be coming out as well, though I don't know which day or both.
I'll bring out some redfish fillets for supper and 007 said something about steaks. We'll have the lights out there too and the weather looks good for fishing.
We're going to need to do some work and it would be great to have some hands Saturday. We'll be cleaning up the rest of the debris from around the camp and cutting a bunch of tin into small enough pieces to haul off. We've got in mind to send TMO home with a truck load, and load my truck up with it too. With a few more sets of hands, we should be able to make short work of what is left, and perhaps take what's left of the old generator shed apart as well. Hopefully 007 and VJER can engineer the front porch roof level. Lurefisher may make it, but it ain't gonna be easy.
Once the work is done, it's fishin' and fun with a good supper and fishin' under the lights.
Sunday morning will be fishing until Glen arrives around 10:30 or so. I'll be making my big breakfast potato and bacon concoction. I'm not sure what Glen will have to do, but I'm thinking it will probably be to get the back porch finished.
With me, 007, and possibly VJER, we've got at least one bed free and a big old air mattress ready to go, so we can take 2 more people for overnight if anyone is interested. Bring your own boat or have us pick you up at the ramp. Post up if you're planning to come. - Sandy
