We didn't catch a thing, though I'm the only one that even made a token effort. The water had muddied up something aweful. We got a good deal more debris out of there and made some progress levelling the place out. I'm happy with the way things are progressing.

Yesterday we even went over to the condemned camp on Cold Pass and Churchill and got anything out of it that we could use. Mike and Glen climbed up the ladder in walked in the open door. As soon as they did, an owl flew out of the door! He seemed a little perturbed. Now guys, we are supposed to destroy that place and remove it, but if an owl had made that his home, would it be illegal to remove it?

Sorry you busted your window again Tom. For those of you not in the know, please do not throw rotten and waterlogged hardie boards at your trucks rear windows.

Matt, it was sure good to see you, and good to see you joinin' us over here. I hope ya'll rebuild y'all's place. You're welcome to stay at our place while you work on it, as long as one of the partners is there.

This coming weekend I think we'll be able to have every piece of debris out of there, plus a few other things we need to do. We may also take a crack at beginning the destruction of the other place.

Sweet, I'll get down there in June . a lot more in July. If that roof gets on, we can start with some interior work.

Facia board is still not on and front porch and the front porch roof is still not level. I tried to get it done last weekend, but I ain't smart enough to figure it out by myself.

When it comes down to it, I'm good at seeing something that's right and something that's wrong. I'm just never sure what the best way to get it right is. I don't have a lot of confidence in some of my ideas. It's like I see how it should be, but I don't have a map to get it there.

This is why you have me around.

It wouldn't hurt to give TPWD a call. It might all depend on what type of owl and if has a nest in the old camp? If it does have a nest or is building a nest they might want you to wait till the chicks have left the nest. Worth a call just to be sure.

Sandy. I got hung up on the mothers day thing. Hopefully this weekend I can bring out the Flounder hunting machine. Pray for calm winds and clear waters.

Weather looks like scattered showers throughout the weekend, but I'm goin' anyway. 007 might be too busy. I'm sure he'll try to make it, but work is falling from the sky right now.

One day I will make it out there to hook up with you guys. I ALWAYS have family events on weekends, so I rarely make a weekend trip, but I will eventually.
