Its not HORRIBLE but its showing up you have lines along the beaches near tide lines. I didn't see clumps floating out in the water. It was late though yesterday

I seen it last week Doc, it was horrid. What caught my eye was the huge, long rafts of it floating in the pass as I was driving over the bridge.

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

This morning on my way home from night fishing I czeched the beachfront from the condos to Surfside. The first wade gut was full of weed.
People were fishing pass the wade gut with no problem,.....but I didn't see any fish caught.

Galveston didn't look horrible... I honestly didn't see "rafts" of floating seaweed. I could be wrong I did see it lining the tide line along the beach but not HEAVY or thick...

Fish the morning surf, plenty of fish there eating the critters coming with the seaweed. Afternoon is a no go, tide is super low.
