Mom got moved back to a regular room early this morning. She finally got to get out of bed and sit in a chair( 1st time since her surgery last Tuesday). Her progress has been slow but it was expected (due to COPD). The doc said that she'll have at least another 5-7 days in the hospital before he releases her into a in-patient re-hab facility.....on a side note....my little sis snuck our little dog in there for a brief visit that made her day!!

Mike, glad to hear she's doing good as can be expected. Yep, the older you get, the longer it takes to heal up from anything, especially hip surgery, just give it time.
