  • Blockade Runners Weekend of 5-15 and 16

Heading out Friday afternoon again if I can get it all together. Tom is not going to be able to get the insulation in this week, so the place is more of a mess than it's been in a long time, with everything stacked up in the front room. The weather is also pretty iffy. I plan to head over to Sea Isle for the crawfish boil at around noon on Saturday. I plan to go by water, but won't be doing so without someone on board who knows the route through the pass into West Bay. 007 said he'd be with me, but I think he's gettin' stacked up with work.

So if anyone's interested, lemme know. - Sandy

Not much help here. Haven't been there enough to know that there is a way through the pass into West Bay. Don't think its that big of an issue, though... Guess a lot of bars there and guts as well...

Looks like we're full up already. Got an old coaching buddy from Waco coming down with his son and Torque and his boy look like they will probably come. VJER will probably be there to get the rest of the cabinets in as well. I'm saving the last spot for 007 in case he can come. - Sandy

My plans have changed just a bit on Saturday. I'll stick around the camp until my visitors from Waco arrive. Might not make it to the boil 'til around 2pm. If anyone is coming to the camp, try to make it there by noon.

Also wanted to add that 007 won't be spendin' the night. If anyone else comes out, we're definitely going to need another boat. As it is I'll be shuttling 2 adults and 2 kids about, plus probably VJER.

Well, despite the rough weather at the beginning, it was a great weekend. Today was exquisite right down to the sunset.

                      Pics and story tomorrow hopefully.

Last day is June 4th. I plan on spending a lot of time down there between then and the 19th when I head to N.O.

Me, Slopoke and Capt. Dave flew by there Saturday afternoon but nobody was home.
I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.
