Well Im going cal BS on this one. Not saying there aint no pigs anywhere. Just the fact that I have seen video of guys in Florida trying and actually killing pigs with spears. Now i find it hard to believe that someone can kill two of them elusive creatures in the water let alone with a gig. Now lets take the paper which it came from. I recall last year there was an article in that paper that talked about how someone caught some kind of EEL offshore maybe it was a rare eel but it was some prehostoric looking eel and the article talked about how they had to fight for their life after vit got in the boat!!!! And come on the background with all the palms? Man he just happen to go change into his hunting camo overalls to clean em. I think I have seen this before still researching !!!

I agree that the gigger article sounds like bs, but the hogs on gi isn't bs. I also agree that most hogs scatter when spooked, however anyone that swears that boars never attack humans unprovoked hasn't spent enough time in the field. Period. We've got a pile of hog bones pretty dang tall over the 100 years of owning a game ranch. Hogs are a real problem for us as the protein they eat is very expensive. We grow deer, not hogs. JT can ridicule me, my dogs, my experience, and anything else he wants. But to come on here and state that "nobody had been around more or shot more hogs" than him is just not true.

As far as the big eels, I have caught many of those out of venice, la as well. Again, I am sure the story was bs, but the eels are real.

I agree on the pigs they are every where you better wacth you but cuttin thru from 2004 bridge to oyster creek. My buddie tore the front end off his truck. The suspect here I believe is the paper. Its a quirky paper for sure enough.usaully has some funny stuff in it!! I am gonna find that article on the eel. I also noticed that the paper never included a date and all the bs about his buddy being drunk was kinda weird!! them damm pigs are one of the smartest animals there is. We still have one more group of pig hunter to hunt this year on our lease I hope they kill every one of them. They also hurt the quail population. I wish they would eat ants and mosquitoes!!!
