After reading that article I'd be down with 87 cause that's what the Robalo drinks. I thought about it and I only put 93 in my Gator-Tail.

After reading this article and doing some other research I'd change my vote to 87 instead of 89. I use the marine
sta-bil with every fill up reguardless of how long it's going to take me to burn the gas out of the tank. Mechanic said that the sta-bil and a fuel/water seperator are the 2 best preventatives that you can have.

By the way, John are my PM's that I sent getting through to you, or am I doing something wrong?

        Plus Required

My Yamaha book specifies 89 (Plus gas) for my F250. The new SHO 250 also requires 89. The 200 HP versions are 87 for both.

JT, is there going to be a serious markup since you are providing gas on the water? That might make a difference to some poeple and what brand they want to see out there.

Mark up? The fact that I no longer have to lug three to four huge gas cans out the dock and fill up saves me money at the doctors office...just get it in!

Yes sir! 93 octane reduced knocking of the engine... We run these things on the ragged edge. 4250 RPM constantly. With the head work, intake and new carb it will perform a lot better. I gained an extra 1 mph by switching fuels and it took away the knocking noise. Some guys are running aircraft grade fuel. Just depends on your mods. Stock motors run fine on 87. I ran 7 months with 87 just made switch though.

That's what I was thinking WTF? cause 93 in a regular lawnmower engine will usually vapor lock in your fuel lines. I didn't know Ya done tricked Her out Coe. I use 87 all of the time (115 four stroke Yammy). I did have some problems last year with the ethanol but new plugs, filters, and a tank of no ethanol gas in Matty fixed that. Was there last week and all of the gas had ethanol except Rawlins' He said his didn't but who knows.

                      Hey Coe:

I prefer drinking Coors Light or Shiner Bock-anything but buttweiser.

LOL @ Brad baby tran cat...Id imagine whoever winds up runnning the marina will run it like a marina instead of a soup kitchen so there will be a mark up consistent w/ other marinas so some of this fun can get paid for.

Ive been told by a number of suppliers that theres no such thing as "ethanol free" gas. they do however have a product (i think its valtex) that they mix w/ the gas that will take care of the ethanol...marinas in Rockport and lake cornrow have it and so will this marina.

Why didn't ya work on it last Saturday like I did on mine during the pouring rain and cold-was really fun-especially when the rain rolled off T-Top and splattered in my eyes as I was stuck between leanpost and console door making new heat shrink connects on corroded up old connections so the dang depthfinder/gps works, vhf works and lights work and cleaned other connections. Was about as much fun as a poke in the eye with a dull stick!!!

Hope ya get her up and running!! Thanks Coe.
