"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. As of Last wk, Trinity is a wash out.. No kidding!
A Possiblity of the Tin Can area / Atkinson Island, but very unlikely... I'd head to Dickinson and fish Moses / in front of Flood gates / Bayou, launch out of "The Fish Spot".... Stay inside those markers Jeremy " warning "
I might just be in that area Sunday..
Keep that live bait away from me
Nice Flatties in Moses if you know where to look

X's 2 on staying in between the markers in there. I've caught my fair share of flatties in there in between the sunken boat and that big gut in the NorthEast corner close to the levy. Watch out if you come from the bay and make a hard right headed to that spot! There's a REALLY shallow reef about 1/4 mile from the gate.Originally posted by Bluewaver View PostAs of Last wk, Trinity is a wash out.. No kidding!

If you're gonna soak shrimp, fish in between the Pine Gully pier and that reef 300 yards to the East of it.Originally posted by FP10 View PostSunday I am gonna fish West. Tuesday I might take my uncle to Moses(just run it from Seabrook) or stay close in seabrook and let him hit the pilings with shrimp.I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

Chip put some up a while back. You know I can't post pics. I took them out on it a couple weeks ago but it was cold and windy so the wife and the older daughter did not like it. The little one loved it. I can't wait until she gets a little older.

Lots of interesting advice. Even though Trinity is a wash, the fish will still be there, remember to watch your prop wash in there and you can get an idea of what's underneath the run off. I'm sure that the Clear Lake has some fish, as well as adjacent shorelines. I'm a big fan of Moses in the spring, you would find plenty of all three species there. Various reefs and spoils as well as open water to the west that will hold nice trout, often to 4 pounds, big flounder, and some really good schools of redfish.
You have a boat now, and one of the best things that you can do is spend time exploring. It's insurance for future trips. If you are taking the fam, then go with what you know.http://www.theshallowist.com
