  • Back surgery

Tuesday , September 22 , I'm having a clamp removed from my lower back . It was placed there during my 2012 Laminectomy . All has been well , but 2 months ago I did a lot of stooping and bending that has had me in pain . The X-rays and MRI show no damage , thank goodness . They say the clamp could have moved a micro - millimeter and press on a nerve . The clamp will be removed and hopefully the pain will go away . One week recovery time . I value your prayers that all goes well . Thank guys !

Why did they leave a clamp in your back? Is it a surgical clamp or a support of some kind, like a hose clamp?

The clamp is to slow the flow of crap guys. He is getting old and the sphincter valve needs a bushing. Next step is water proof depends. Lmao

Aint it the truth . You get older and everything sags , breaks , or leaks . HAR!
The surgeon is Stanley Jones who did the 2012 surgery .
During the 2012 surgery , he found a vertebra that moved . A spring loaded clamp was placed to secure it to the next vertebra for fushion . More artificial bone will be placed after the clamp is removed .

Good luck Plugger. I had a cyst pressing on a nerve in my lower back and had it removed last April. It's been much better since the surgery. You'll be out fishing in a month again.

Good luck I figured I would make you laugh before your procedure. Laughter makes everything better.
