Dat's why I asked for your opinion specifically Bro. After seeing what you did with that rod rack you made for the camp, it's obvious you know what you're doin'.Originally posted by TXSHOCKWAVE View PostI dont care who you take it to but if you bring it to me i can section it and weld it back together. then i'll get it powder coated white to match the hull.
PM me an estimate if you will. If I can cover it presently, I'll bring it out to you on Tuesday if that works for ya. I have teacher in-service that day, so I'll be outta here at 3pm instead of the regular 4pm. I'll get with you later this week.

Nice Sandy. My Skeeter has a fold down grab rail and removable windshield-the grab rail change should be pretty easy. I bet you can get some release wing type nuts for the windshield and just undo them to remove windshield. The grabrail has plastic screwknobs so easy to loosen and lower. Next time I'm aground, err, I mean around your camp I can show you how it's set up.

Take measurements. Remove. Push under carport. Give grab rail to TXSHOCKWAVE.
You're good to go!
Hey man, it's cool seeing you with a newish rig. It could'nt had happened to a better person.
I wonder if you could lower the trailer jack and push it under the port?
I was going to ask the same question.

I had the same problem with the BC so I had Donny put me a grab rail that will fold down and the windshield is the same one they use on their smaller boats and it has the 6 plastic screws that I can take off in 30 seconds pull two pins and fold the grab rail over forwards to fit in the garage.
Think it cost was 120 extra. Just got to remember to lower it before putting the boat in the garage.
I had thought about lowering the set up but then lower 6-8 inches is too much of the windshield to lose when I laid it out unless you are 5 ft tall.
Need a px of what it looks like let me know.Last edited by JimD; January 13, 2010, 08:04 AM.
