The Marina/Bait Camp, store and gas pumps are open to the public, always have been. The only thing not open to the public is the boat ramp and resturaunt. But I agree, if they open the ramps and resturaunt it would be even more business. It's a great place to host a tournament but they don't want that. It was tough to make money before and the economy makes it tougher now. I asked Tom about this a long time ago and he told me the owner was not worried about the money, I guess he is now! Yea, thats what I meant. Open it up so people could come in by vehicle and launch. Would definatly bring in more money. I would love to have access to that ramp on then low tide days

I love launching there... I have not seen 1 other truck & trailer in all the weekends I've been launching there! I looked there when we were buying a few years ago. Really nice development, but out in the middle of nowhere. I thought at the time it was a 50/50 bet that it would make it from an investment perspective. There might be some good bargains in there soon if someone is willing to take a little risk and bet on the long term.
BTW. I like the idea of a floating Beer, Bait, and Ammo store.
