Trust me Monte, she needs no encouragement. Willie, the tide will be risin' all day long. That's was one of my reasons for wanting to launch so late. It will give the tide time to come up some. If it gets too hairy, there's always Ernie's old ramp just down the road. It's actually closer to the Ghost Camp I believe.

Tiger, we could always use hauling help. So far we've done it all in the back of our pickups. We're fixin' to need something bigger. Looks like next Sunday will be a good one for hauling. The problem is, where can it all go? My heavy trash guys are about fed up with me and a load at the dump here costs serious $. Very little of the wood is treated, so it shouldn't be a problem to burn it. We just can't burn it out there per GLO rules (They are EXTREMELY serious about this one). I don't have a place to burn it either. Really the only metal is some flashing and the nails in the wood.

As far as using your jon-barge, I think that might be more trouble than it's worth, but we'll talk about it.

Sounds like a plan to me. I'll bring some snack's to munch on, jalapeno cheese/ham wraps and I just took a couple of pork tenderloin's off the pit and I'll slice it up.

Man, I'm glad you showed up here.

Willie, I skipped lunch today just to get ready for that.

I have some ribs, a beef loin, potatoes, and sausages. Ztrede is going to bring some venison too. Anyone else that wants to add to the pot luck meals, bring whatever. Someone should bring out some hot cocoa.

I went to Academy tonight and got a big heater to put on a big propane bottle, along with some longhandles and good gloves. Make sure you all bring enough layers to keep warm in the wind, and don't forget the chap-stick. That's a no-sharing item.

Launch time should be no later than 11:30 on Saturday. Things are shaping up, even if the weather ain't.

I can bring some chicken legs and I got some hot cocoa mix with marshmallows in seperate packs so if you want it without the marshmallows they won't be in it already.

                  Chicken legs
                  potatoes
                  sausages

Sounds good in a pot with some crab boil!

Heck, what I usually do is throw them on the grill and if they don't come out great, then you throw them in the boil to soak up dat juice. It usually comes good. It's great that you have the hot cocao mix because I was just at the store and totally forgot that.

I think we might end up with too much food. Here is what we've got so far:

I'm bringing a rack of baby back ribs, potatoes, corn, and sausage for a boil, and all the fixins for my famous O'Brien Potato breakfast casserole (Including a bunch of Wright Brand Bacon, with plenty of extra for eatin' straight). Ztrede (Zach) is bringing some quail and some Axis deer meat. That stuff is better than any white tail. Primer is bringing chicken legs and hot cocao. I was going to make some soup too, but it sounds like we have the food thing pretty covered. Willie will also be bringing his goodies for snacking on during the day Saturday, and most of y'all know he ain't no slouch in the kitchen.

That all sounds like a pretty good spread. Time to get packed up and ready for the A.M. trek to Pasagitdowndena.

Heading out momentarily. 'Tis a bit chilly here in the bachelor pad dis mernin'. Time to put on the longhandles. It appears that fishing is pretty much out, but workin' hard should keep us lukewarm. See y'all out there! - Sandy
