Make no mistake Bro. It's goin' to be cold. Make sure you have several layers on, including gloves, scarves, hats, and an extra pair of socks on would help too. We'll get a lot done for sure.

Willie, I notice you used the singular, "feeling". Count yourself lucky that you only have one.
Don't listen to Mike, he gets fussy sometimes. Just open a beer and he gets all better. LOL!
Saturday's going to be cold boys. Looks like we should have a good crew though. TMO, fishbobr, WillieP, and the guy and his 2 sons that are coming to test drive the Gray Ghost. It's going to be freakin' cold y'all, so make sure you are covered up and ok to be comfy in the wind and cold. Not quite Deadliest Catch weather, but about as cold as we Southerners can handle.
Milkjug, if you think you could come Sunday, so far I'm the only one going. I should be hearing from 007 tonight on what he thinks about spending the night out there. If he can't come, I'm just going to make it 2 separate day trips. If he can come I'm bringing some good food along with all the heater fuel I stocked up on. Got stuff for the grill and a boil as well. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Go ahead and count me in......screw it..I can finish the work on Monday and use the "cold" as an excuse.....the "Ghost Camp" needs to be gone! The more bodies that we have, the warmer it will be. Do you want to take my rig out there? I really need to run it!Last edited by 007; January 6, 2010, 08:06 PM.I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

And this from you, who just the month before, was the "no phone answering A-hole"!Originally posted by 007 View Post...no doubt!
I tell you what, if I can get the tilt trim to work, which I think its just low on fluid...I'll be out to haul stuff for yall. I'll say it now though, I can't do any climbing or hauling. My hip is F'ed up, and even a day of wading, or worse work, it'll be hurting like no tomorrow. (and I'm out of drugs) I can ferry stuff back and forth though. I'd come out Saturday, but have a dinner date in the Woodlands at Flemings Steakhouse, and don't plan on missing it.Last edited by FlatoutFishin; January 6, 2010, 08:30 PM.Don't be a Nancy!
If it smells like fish....you know I've been there!

ALL FREAKIN' RIGHT!
Ok, here's the deal so far. I spoke to Primer and 007 and they are in. FoF didn't answer his phone. I'd give him a hard time, but he might be workin'.
As it stands now, I'll be driving up from Angleton Saturday morning to pick up 007 in Pasadena and Primer in Dickinson. We'll drive back down to Angleton and meet up with FISHNNUT from 2cool (he may be joining us here shortly.) He's the guy coming to take a test run with the Gray Ghost. I'm not sure yet if he and his sons will want to work or if they just want a test run. If they want to work, that's awesome. If not, they'll take the Gray Ghost home after the test run.
WillieP and ztrede (Yest dude, well be very happy for you to help us out!) will be out for the day on Saturday and perhaps Monte (FlatoutFishin') will join us. Monte, if the boat ain't up to snuff, forget her and I'll pick you up at the dock. No problem if you can't do any work Bro, you can hand out beers.
Milkjug, whenever you can make it Bro. Sunday looks the most open if you'd rather some better weather.
Primer, 007, and I will be out for the night. I'm not sure when Milkjug will be able to make it, but anytime is good. I'll have ribs and a beef thingy for the grill and I have corn, potatoes, and sausage for a boil. I may also make a soup/stew on an overnight slow fire.
It's goin' to be too cold to fish conventionally. If anyone wants to drop some scrimps on the bottom in some deep holes, that could work.Last edited by coachlaw; January 7, 2010, 12:13 AM.From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
