  • Honey Holes????

Is there really such a thing....a place where everytime you go you are guarantee fish? I have some places I like to go, and have some luck, but I dont really have a place to go and always catch. Just wondering if there really are places like this.

I have two. One for reds and trout. That place only gets fished when me or the guy who showed me the spot goes to it. Also a little flounder spot in Seabrook that I see another person fish about once or twice a year besides me. The second spot is always good for a flounder or two. The first spot I have caught at least 2 reds and a trout both times. The best thing about these two spots is that you fish from the bank!!

No. But there is a freshwater spot up near Dallas where I have caught keeper catfish every time out of 15+ trips.

The first spot I have caught at least 2 reds and a trout both times.
2 times and you are sure it is a 100% spot huh? N=2 is not statistically significant.

Yeah, but I have been skunked. Doesn't mean it's not an awesome honey hole, just not guarenteed.

Besides, you talk about using dead shrimp on here and you'll get razzed

Some spots are always ambush points and the fish know this, so yes, honey holes exist. Now whether the fish are hungry or not is the unknown.
Where ever you go, there you are.

I have (had) a spot that produced 22-28" reds everytime that I fished it......unfortunately....it is now a restricted Homeland Security Zone that I have been reminded by the Coasties 3 times now. Coe has been up in there and knows what I'm talking about. I caught a 1st and 2nd place red in there 2 different times in 2 different tourneys. Damm terrorists screwed up my ONLY honey hole!!!

I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

It is when my buddie that showed me the spot has been showing me pics for a year and every time he goes he comes back with fish. Actually now that I think about it I have been 3 times. 1st trip 2 reds and a flounder, 2nd trip 3 reds and a trout(that was also the trip with the 36"er), third trip was 2 reds and a trout. Like I said though it has been producing for at least a year. My buddie just finally told me where it was.

                        JT does!!!

I believe JT has a favorite Honey Hole-it is called "CENTERFOLDS" on Richmond.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I guess the honet holes are around. I need to find some, or be lucky ebough to have some one share one, (very Unlikely). Area I have is Ok, the best part is that there is not so much crowd.

                              ?

Why would you go fish other places, if a honey hole is producing. Do any of you continously go to the same hole? I think I would if I had one.
