I got that from the ole' guy that owned the pink bait camp off 45 feeder road by Smitty's. Yes it is painted, not original.

This thread reminds me of wading the surf many years ago. When throwing a mirrorlure and feeling that big pull, you knew it was a good fish.. just a few more of my favorites. White body red head being one of the top..

I went fishing yesterday evening and it looks like the shad and minnows are spawning. I fished for about an hour and did not get hit.
I was up in dickinson bayou. Was out at my pa pas this morning taking the boat out of the water and the water is very clear.

Get out there when you can... may try in the morning...
