HAR! John , that's hardcore , planted on the bottom of the pool . I'd never find someone to reel in that many lures , drunk or not . I bet big money after that many lures and that many beers that you didn't get out to take a whiz ! I've seen lures topside but not by me in the water . In the water I'd risk being harpooned ... It's the devil great white whale captain Ahab !

It shows the brokenbacks and a hand written note on how to order . I didn't see peanuts or more brokenback colors that I saw in the past .

Chit's getting way too deep. If Johnson wanted to rig spoons backward, they'd sell 'em that way. Easy blue with the eyes and spots. Go to Marburgers and buy the Lee horsehair Bucktails. One more time, red behind gold, white, yellow,chartreuse or pink behind silver. Split ring and barrel swivel on front hole for action and no line twist. How you put it, I'm done. Quit confusing folks.

Henry.....I used to use my neighbor's pool for experiments on how a lure operates underwater.....I'd sit on the bottom of the pool with my mask while he retrieved the lure, experimenting with different speeds, sink rates, retrieves, etc. That's how I finally got the hang of fishing with sinking and suspending corkies. I got the idea a few year back to turn a spoon around and see how it sank, retrieved, fluttered, etc. and I found that a straight retrieve with no twitching worked best with the spoon rigged originally since the flutter is punctuated by the broader end at the back, but it makes the lure seem to resemble a fish swimming backward and I ani't never seen a fish swim backward (that's how I got the idea to turn it around). Rigged backward only works if your desired presentation is to mimic a rising and diving baitfish, and it still flutters. The MAIN reason, I have to admit, for all this experimentation, is that my neighbor was an alcoholic and always had a case of cold beer when he was by his pool.

Capt. Jay Watkins wrote that he rigged his soft plastics upside down sometimes . He got strange looks from clients . He's taking us fishing and he doesn't know how to rig a soft plastic ?! He liked the action or something . There are no rules .
