I would be perfectly fine if shrimping in the Gulf and bays went the way of the dinosaur and all that was left was farm raised foreign. Noone should be allowed to f*** up that much seabottom and waste that much bycatch for some measly shrimp.

I tend to agree, but those imports just don't cut the mustard in taste. Big GOM shrimp can't be beat!

Shouldn't be berling fillets in there Monte. You gotta berl da whole fish, less the guts. Need the heads in there for sure, not just the fish, but the scrimps. That's where all the good stuff is. Still sounds like you did a good job. Next time, go the extra mile, include da heads. You'll notice the difference.

I dont save heads or i would have! But also don't knock it till you try it, the filets boiled down to nothing and had the house smelling freakin awesome...REALLY! You had no chunks or anything...give it shot sometime.
