I watch all UT sports. Support the girls softball team. Baseball is probably my fave. I'd watch 'em mow grass and kick *** if we had a mowing team. Only pro anything I view is NASCAR. The drivers almost always say "I'd like to thank God and my team today...." None of that me, me, me, I, I, I, BS. You'll never have to question my allegience. B&P

If you are a long time fan of a team and stick with them thru the good and the bad, then I do not consider it jumping on the bandwagon. What I do not like is when your team does bad, you jump to another team that is doing well. Example is, I know a guy that is a Laker fan, Cowboy and Steeler fan, Yankee fan, etc!

I am a Rocket fan, texan fan, Aggie fan, Astros fan only! When the Oilers left town, I had not team to support.

As for the Aggies not doing well, that is OK with me because I will support them no matter what happens.
That's better, I feel the same about it.

Hell I'm a Cowboys fan and was raised one...it was hard during those 10 yrs of watchin our JV team.

    JT:

Ya ol' fart-ya gratitated before me!! I met with the Dean back in the early 90s or late 80s trying to convince them to keep the PLM Program going, but they only had about 20 students in it then due to the poor economy, so about a year later they ended the PLM program. We both have degrees that ya can't get anymore-at least not from the best school in TEXAS.

EX21: Did ya support Francione? Did ya give him $15,000/year so you could get the sick/injured list he was selling to anyone that paid him $15,000? Pretty GD stupid of him and he was a POS coach that was heavily touted as the next Jackie Sherrill clone. All the aggies I knew were estatic about Francione and he never was a good coach-I didn't understand why they wanted him so bad to start with, but I was sad to see him go since he was terrible and he sold out his own team by giving secret info to anyone that paid him $15,000. I guess at least Sherman aint selling info but his coaching is a little better than Franciones.

If UT isn't winning Big 12, then I want atm as winner, never ou.

JT, let's for sure hook up in Pasadena. Are you guys staying in LA or Pasadena? Last time we stayed in LA.....big mistake with the traffic. We will be near the stadium this time.

No I didn't go to UT, couldn't afford to do that by myself. But I may in the future.

Why do people call it bandwagonning because you root for a team but didn't go to the school. I'm sure none of ya'll played for an NFL team or were part of one, so I guess we're all bandwagoners.
Now if you're a Tech fan one yr and then switch the next...

Graduated from UT in 1987. I hope to be at the Rose Bowl in January. I was there in 2005. Hook 'em.

May happen Slyell, strange things have happened before, especially when UT should easily beat the opponent (Central Florida a few years ago!).

Nope-he was afraid he'd be skewered like a piece of meat on a ka-bob. The SOB with the sabre was wrist slapped. Wonder what section of Huntsville he's in today or likely he's in the Personnel Department at Shell or ExxonMobil and drooling for firing/lay off day-sick bastage.

That being said, I really care more about Tulane winning more and LSU winning less.
I share the same opinion that coachlaw does about TU being too liberal. That's why my son and my money go to A&M. My younger son will also be going there next year. Their team should be better next year with the 18 freshman maturing and with Sherman at the helm. Gig 'em Aggies!

THE University of Texas at Austin, BBA in PLM Class of 1981. As far as aggies, I was meeting with the College Station City Attorney at CS City Hall in 1992 regarding drilling a well in the city limits and had a "UT-EX" sticker on my suburban. When I came out to my truck after the meeting I had a very nice long key scratch down my side of my truck. That shows lots of "Spirit" doesn't it? BTW, my Godfather was a Class of 1952 aggie and had respect-seems lots of aggies nowadays fail to show respect and are rabid and sick when it comes to "Team/School Spirit". Look at the Sabre incident with SMU-a little overboard and some folks think they (the sabre threateners) were justified. My $.02.

    GO HORNS!
