die hard trophy trout fishermen or women

I got my 29 last Dec.So looking for the 30+.Usually get serious about it when it gets cool enough for waders.Warmer months I just fish for a tug on the line.

I havn't got a big girl YET. But I've conquered the reds...so the big trout is still elusive. My biggest is 25"

AP...I seem to remember one big arse flounder giving you a run for the money one time....

I've never caught a trout worth talking about so that's all I'm going to be fishing for this winter/spring. Reds, flounder and whatever ends up on the end of my line will just be by catch

Heres a pic of my biggest yet 26 3/4 I think almost 7 lbs .I caught her while fishing with Sneekypete in one of his and Steve's hole's in Gorda .If you ever get to go be ready for some mud.lol A couple of months after releasing that fish.Im in the hospital with the wife and we have are daughter,i call Sneeky and tell him everthing is great beatifull blue eyes ,7 lbs so many onces .Sneeky told me keep tryen Deano your not in the 8lb club yet lol

I love trout fishing:

up until last year on the day before the Star Tournament (3 years in a row) I caught my 3 largest trout ever all on Fly.

2005: 30" 6LB on Gummy Minnow
2006: 32" 6.5LB on Gummy Minnow
2007: 33" 7LB on Gummy Minnow

I haven't caught another monster trout since then and all three were released. I always find 28-29" trout during that time of year in my "spot". Just crazy how all three came a year apart and all literally the Friday before the Tournament began
