I have been in the middle of this from day 1, trying to reconcile the parties, etc. Nothing has worked. Several times I've thought I should post during one on the spats, but I and others thought it better for everything to just be pulled and try to work things out via PMs and phone calls.
From now on, any problems regarding the camp between guests, partners, workers, valued potlickers, pooping birds, upset hardheads, or poor tempered crabs etc. need to be dealt with off the board through ME. It's not right to ask Coe, Mike, Tiny, etc. to play mediator or babysitter. That's my job since I'm the lease holder. Everything can be worked out through communication, but nobody should be getting their panties in a wad on a public forum. I have a phone, you have a phone, use it. I've asked Mike to do whatever is necessary to protect the integrity of the board. Depending on his judgement, that means a temporarily ban for anyone who doesn't follow the board's policy over this issue. Don't be mad at him when he does it. I asked for it, so call me the bad guy. If it continues, the ban won't be so temporary.
If it continues to be a headache for them, I'm going to shut down everything Blockade Runners oriented on this site. Y'all know I don't want to do that. This place is the home of Blockade Runners and I am very proud and happy to have that relationship with all the members here. You'll notice I don't post much about the place anywhere else.
This is Coe's site. He's nice enough to host our discussions, my cries for help, and eventually my invites to enjoy the completed project. We would be nowhere without the people of FWE and I intend for all those people to enjoy the place once our hard work is done.
FWE, just like the camp, should be a place for only good feelings, fun, and good memories. I think we can all agree on that. - Sandy
IMHO....Coach Law should have his own place on here........he's earned it!!....until then ..I'll be looking over the place and dealing with the out of hand members accordingly...007
