The guides cup was held today and congratulations to Capt. Greg Francis (Aqua Pimp) for his third place finish behind Capts. Blaine Friermood and Jimmy West.

Thanks ya'll... it was tough out there with high tides, full moon over head, and strong southerly winds at 20 knots. But my team of Steve A, Danny Popovich, and Steve Soule caught fish. Catching fish wasn't that much of a problem for us as we had a nice cooler of fish, we just couldn't get on any good Trout. I think we ended the day with 6 or 7 Reds and 7 or 8 Trout. Our weight was a little over 16lbs. Both reds were a little over 5lbs and our 3 Trout cobined for a little over 5lbs. Considering the conditions I thought we had it but it was only good for a 3rd place finish. To 3rd place finishes in both Guides Cup for the year.
Fish were caught on a mix of soft plastics, topwaters, and rattle traps.
I had a great time yesterday with my crew and we definatly fished our butts off out there and got a little beat up.
You can bet this team will kick the door down next year next year!
