  • Hi-speed chase concludes in my driveway this morning!

I know its not fishing related but I want to share

Freaking punk, drunk and running from the law wipes out and finnaly comes to a stop in my driveway. A witness that happened to be sitting on her porch saw the whole thing. She said he was doing about 70 mph when lost it and hit my next door neighbors brick mail box. the mail box exploded like a bomb sending huge hunks and small hunks and all sizes inbetween flying like missiles for about 35 yds. Then he went airborne and smashed into the neighbors palm tree and then finnaly, spinning and knocking the crap out of my wifes 4-Runner
I got the frantic call at work from my wife and rushed home and all I could think was WTF. This is pure bull shiet. Take a look at the mess this jack hole made.

I couldn't pull the link here at work Bert...glad everyone is safe though. From the sounds of it, luckily no one was outside in the yard.

Cops could not answer as to citizenship status...it was one of my questions to them.
No one was killed and he was gone by ambulance when I got there. They said he got out on his own and was hidding but the witness pointed his locatin to the cop. Due to the mechanisim of injury it's mandantory to be checked out by medical for hidden injurys so he went straight to the hospital.
My wife found his name and address on Public Data.com by running his plates. Jose Hernadez lives near me on Charles street here in Bacliff. I've got a pile of busted bricks and car parts I'd love to deliver but I would probably get in more trouble than he did because of my leagle status and solvent abilities to pay bills.
If I had to guess. He's most likely illegal.

That really sucks. Would have saved the courts and hospitals some money if he died in the wreck

Dang Bert! The really sad thing about this whole thing is the hospital bill will probably cost more than the repairs for everything. Guess who will be paying for that?
I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.
