if you cant swim stay out of the water!
the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

I was out wading on the back side of the pass with a buddy of mine and we saw the CG chopper searching all weekend. Very sad

Sadly folks fail to read all the warning signs posted in the area-plus all the news stations had been warning of rip currents and what to do if caught in one.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I don't think it matters if you can swim or not. If you get caught up in the current, you're going for a ride. The best thing to do is stay out of the water at the Pass, or at least wear a PFD.

The pass demands respect and the result if you don't respect it, can be deadly.
It continues to happen and the sad part is that many times it is the youngsters that pay the price.
