Salinity level

I noticed that there were alot of well formed sudsy patches last weekend out in mid West Bay, which I suspect indicates a really high salinity level. This is probably due to lack of rain and higher than normal temperatures lately.

Where would be a preferrable location/area when it is like this? Deeper water? Different structures? Does it matter at all? Thanks in advance for your .02.

I'd target the areas flushed more often... Sounds like your describing stagnant water kinda the same thing you get when you leave shrimp over night in a cooler with aerator on the foamy mess

Yep, head towards the gulf. I would try SLP, the jetties, maybe Fort Travis.

W. Bay gets flushed pretty well though, I thought this was more of a problem for Trinity.

HA HA! The damn things had another die off again over the 4th, but it was not as bad as the first one! Last weekend, the water in our canal was rusty color again. Not sure, but we can use some rain.
