From a dead stop put it in Neutral from 4WD High go to 4WD Low and put it back in drive. Make sure 4 low works too. You won't be able to go very fast & it should put off A LOT or torque careful. We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

Yes,my 2 you can tell turn sharp just backing out of driveway. some years Chevys have solenoid on front dif if it is not working,it will not engage the front axels even if the transfercase shifts in 4wd.Originally posted by Primer View PostSo drive it in 2wd and get used to its turning. Then put it in 4hi and try turning and see how it feels?

look for smooth in and out in the Transfer Case. If it clicks multiple times (like not fully engaged), is slow responding or fails to engage-run away."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
