It seems like a good idea and is currently the only contribution I can make.
I don't want to do it if I can get into trouble but since I'm not making money I think it would be ok with the law.
let's get the bidding started 250.00 is my opening bid

Awesome...that's what I want to see. Coe confirms he received the funds for the site and its a go.
3 riders max in the boat including me.
Winner brings his own ice chest for fish beverages/food.
I'll pay for my operating cost so it's all volunter funds for the site
I'll go from dusk to dawn if that's what it takes to get a limit.

I pray any guides in my area understand the motivation.

Bert, you're doing this as a fundraiser for a cause, not yourself. You can't get into any sort of trouble as no money will be changing hands between you and the fishermen you take. You are just some guys going out for flounder. Nothing more. It's completely kosher.
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

I don't think so either but I could see it as stepping on the toes that make a living out of it so I'll try to keep this to my once a year contribution to the site.

I'd like to get a CG license and get paid doing something I love. I hear it's expensive and the exam is very hard.

"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. I want to thank everyone who donated. As you may or may not know this site is run on donations alone and with the aid of our sponsors. Making changes, upgrading & adding new features costs money & I appreciate those that helped out. I have put together a package for everyone that donated if you don't receive it by Monday of next week please send me a PM. Some have gone out but we ran out of koozies & stickers so we had to order more. They are in finally and packages will be going out today.

Did you miss this thread? Wish to make a donation? You can find the link / button at the bottom of our homepage (www.fishwestend.com) there's a donate button on the bottom right corner, so scroll all the way down.

Tom, I think Bert already settled on his trip with another member. Should you wish to make other arrangements contact Bert, he has only a few weekends left before No Gig Season and then December will be upon us. Thanks for your bid! Hope to see you at the weigh-in Saturday.
