Time for a stealth mission with the dewalt and a hole saw.

His boat is covered with a blue tarp to hide the name and numbers, but pretty easy to spot with two palm stumps on the north side of his house. The pics show the boat and easily identifiable plus you can read the TX numbers, so doubtful he can claim "Not me".

"Mr. Moore" is that the grey haired Barney? If so, yes he is strict-real strict. Has come up to my house because a car was parked facing traffic and said move it or ticket.

Man I hope they can prove that the tree is the same one from the guys yard. Even though we all know it is more than likely his.

I emailed Lt. Hubbell at JBPD-apparently with pics they can get him. Not sure what all has been done-I did notrice TWO palm stumps now in the guy's yard, so likely there are two floating around. I told Hubbell I would press charges and I said the idiot could have killed someone and also said in email that someone's boat hit it and will likely sue the guy. When I spoke to lady at City Hall she mentioned that someone else complained also. If they already signed a complaint, maybe that's why I wasn't asked to come in and sign formal charges-hope they get him. Pretty sure they won't ignore this.

I'm surprised Mr. Moore hasn't personally driven over there and said something to him. You know he's pretty strict about the law and I can see him getting pretty tweeked about this.

According to the reports, the one that we photoed, was the 2nd one in 2 days and heard rumor that he was planning to tow another one out today. Hopefully they caught him in the act.

Problem with palm trees...once they get water logged they'll float just under the surface where you can't see it. They need to make the DA clean it up. Was it a tree that was already in the water, or did he cut it down, throw it in then haul it out. Not that it matters, I'm just wondering at what level of stupidity this guy is.

Cody, Bailey & I saw it as we cruised out of JB on Friday I almost hit it until I saw her, at night she'd be impossible to spot... I would have put flags on the tree but I left my orange tape in the car.

Just an FYI, I caught two construction workers throwing a whole door jam with the door in our canal in Terramar. I said something to them and they acted like they could not understand my broken spanish. All I can say is, they won't do it again (I hope)

What ever happens to this POS, I hope it is enough to teach him a lesson! He has to be a real moron on two counts:

1. Setting a tree afloat in west bay on a holiday weekend and

2. Thinking no one would get pizzed enough to call 5-0 on him.
