  • Gator's in west bay!

Keep a sharp eye out there are gator's in west bay and not near marshes and were fresh water run-off spot's.I was walkin out and was like WTH is that from a good distance so i threw my topwater at it which landed four feet away and it didn't even flinch.I got closer and was like wth is that doing here.I got past it and it started to follow me from a great distance. It was looking for a easy meal of my stringer of reds.Keep your eyes open.

About 5 foot is the biggest I've seen. I like to spot them afore getting in the water!

Pictures please. Never saw one in all of the 10 years fishing and living here. And yes, I do know what to look for. Do you want to talk rattle snakes? I'm good for that. I'm not saying they dont live here, but never saw them here. Sabine? Watch your limbs.

That's my friend Garfield the gar. He hangs out in Dana's. Saw him put a hump on a porpoises *** about a week ago. He's a bad dude.

                Chris,

That wasn't a gator it was one of the 100 pound lizards they are breeding for the Texas coast to go along with the giant flounders.

the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

I've seen a 5' in Karankawa and saw a couple during Early Teal around Greens.

You wanna talk about gators...I went for a paddle in armand bayou the other day... I was surrounded by them the whole time. Makes the trip all the more thrilling... I suppose.

They're there. I had a close encounter with one a couple years ago. Good thing TTU Wader was there to save me.
