A buddy of mine is coming down from Houston on Thursday to do some fishing. He's not hardcore so we will be soaking dead skrimps. I was thinking that SLP would be a good place to fish from the bank and drink some beers. Seems like with the NE type wind forecasted we should be protected on the Galveston side.
My question is, with the outgoing tide all afternoon, where would ya'll set up? I was thinking of either fishing right next to the bridge pilings, or going out to where the pass meets the surf. Not sure, as I've only fished the backside of SLP. Thanks for the advice!
