Am I reading this right? You own a BlackJack boat?
If so, how do you like it. Is it the dream rig I think it is?

Good deal on the new bait camp, multiple options is a good thing.

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

Yea, JT has a 24' Blackjack. Keeps it in Sea Isle. Very nice boat, With the new prop we put on it a few months ago it runs upper 50's. Its one of the driest boats I have ever ran, even drier than my 24' Kenner. Hes running a Yammie 250 4 stroke on it. Sweet rig for sure!

Yah I'm with AP buy some 5GA containers, also at Texas Yamaha on 45 South they have those racing fuel cans that dump 5GA in like 20 seconds... makes life much easier but this will require you transferring fuel around... I have a container that holds 20GA plus 4-5 5GA containers from Ike, Waverunners etc...

That is a good idea. My neighbor mention to me recently he plans on buying one of those 28 gallon tanks on wheels, so I might just bum his once and awhile.

My grandfather used to bring down 55GA Drums full of fuel and would fill up his old Robalo that way...

I think they work great until you have to haul it to the gas station and fill her up! Trying to unload 28 gallons of gas out of the back of the truck is not going to be easy when I am flying solo!

I do the 4 5 gallon cans thing too. I have a trailer but I hate to put her on it. If I make two trips that's like 44 gallons since you can really get about 5.5 gallons in each can.

I bought 15-5 gallon cans after the storm. Never have to trailer the boat for gas again!
