I'm putting off making the call until 4pm. It looks like it keeps mounting to the SW. Oh well, I'm ready to roll. Just got those 1X6s at the hardware store Lurefisher.

Yep, sometimes you gotta look out at the tarp and realize it ain't comin' off the diamond until tomorrow.

Mike and VJER trued up the north side of the missing room and the east side is good enough for the roof if it's in the cards this week. If not, we'll make it even better next weekend.

The bad news. When I got home I found one of my cats has somehow gotten into a bunch of fishing line and has swallowed it so badly that it won't come out the front end. I called the vet and it looks like I'm about to be very poor indeed, with no guarantee of success .

Sorry about the cat. How'd y'all get it shored up? There was about a thousand ways being slung around on how to do it the other day.

They chopped the whole wall off at the top and did it up right. I'm generally not a fan of rain, but it was a blessing in disguise as we needed that time to get it redone properly.

Thanks for the well wishes y'all. She's looking ok right now, but if they have to cut her open to get it out, there are a lot of complications to worry about.

Glad to hear about the progress at the camp.

Very sorry to hear about your cat. Hope there are no complications and she makes it just fine. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

I do not think it had a hook on it. I don't know how she came up with it. On the up side her appetite was enough to get her out of hiding this morning. I didn't give her any of the food though, as I had to fast her. I just dropped her off and she seems normal right now. Thank goodness I found someone to take my morning duty.

Slider is the cat I rescued from the mouth of a German shepherd on the baseball field in Waco, hence the name. She wasn't supposed to survive then. She's been with me for 8 years now, and she's the best buddy of my other cat, Fat Albert. The two are inseparable. I came back home and he's looking all over the place for her

I'll let y'all know what happens. The girl at the desk this morning said I was probably looking at a minimum of $400, even if it's bad news.
