I caught this 6# trout back in July. I went out with AP last spring on a rough and very windy day we didn't have any luck but he pointed out a spot that I should try during a south wind and it paid off. Thank Pimp!

                            been a while

Haven't caught a trophy in a few years but had a 28 3/4 from behind shell island on a carrot colored kelley shimp tail. The only fish I caught that day, was about ready to go home skunked when she bit. Took her to creative feathers taxidermy in LaMarque and cost me 27.00 dollars an inch for a skin mount on a piece of drift wood. Caught a 29" about a week later on a big paddle tail strawberry/chartreuse gambler (remember those). Hooked that one out in front of starvation cove and released her. Never know when it's gonna happen. Caught several over 25" mostly wading skyline drive in Texas City on 51 mirrolures and Johnson sprite silver/ Chartreuse spoons. Ike took my skin mount and I never was a picture taker. Got some reputable witnesses to my catches if I need them.

One of first big trout and also one of my favorite pictures. Caught off Indian Point in Corpus, 1982 or 1983 with my granddad. I was about 16. Rolling old school.
