haha. 2 of those trout came from lures steve gave me for my birthday. my birthday is in one week...HINT steve!! it has been a couple of years.

Most of the fish were caught in the spring. All on big topwaters except for one. All were released except one.

I appreciate that Keith. There is nothing like tying into a big trout whether you land it or not.

I highly recommend an awesome book titled, World Class Texas Trout Tomorrow...authored by Scott Murray. It chronicles 30 stories of some of the biggest trout ever caught on our coast. Most importantly is the scientific research done on our Texas Trout. It is hard to put the book down. There are some interesting opinions from some of the best big trout fisherman of our time. There are also some common themes from these salts which yields them some impressive beauts.

I dont get many pics of big fish since I release most while wading, I have had 5 from galveston that went 29.75". Still waiting on that elusive 30"er from galveston....
