Tops and Corkies....Big tops and little tops...floaters and sinkers until you find one that works. If they are eating, you will eventually find the pattern.sigpic

Flourocarbon leader maybe if they are in clear water. If they are busting out of the water they are definately feeding. Are you wading up to them? Are they spooking when you throw at them? This time of year whatever they are eating is going to be small so maybe downsize your lure. Sometimes you have to really rip you bait through the target area also, so be sure to try that.
Keep posting up what you try and what works. Good luck!"Nobody's so poor that democrats can't get rich screwing 'em."

Match the hatch! Like Boom and Milkjug said, sometimes this time of year the prefer the smaller baits. Trout are feeding on alot of small glass minnows this time of year. That Mirrominnow or Mirrodine is a good choice. Also try a small chrome/ blue back rattle trap, a smaller sized Bass Assassin in a 3 or 4" size, or a smaller topwater in a Super Spook Jr or She Pup.
Good Luck
