We changed the prop on a Suzuki 250 engine 110 miles offshore! Sure didn't want to drop that prop nut!!!

There was a post on TOB about someone spinning their prop between the jetties and being in harms way. Mike in Friendswood rescued them with a tow to the yacht basin.
Everyone should have a Prop-Aid. Ask Louie Baumann if they really work.

My prop hubs last about a year..... so I now keep an extra on board, just for that reason ...... just spun one just last monht while I was in a rush

Fumble into the drink maybe? Prop Nut off into the Big Blue tool box?Been there done that. LOL

humph, didnt think of that, that is an easy thing to put in the hatch with those things. Good heads up. Oh, and we always have some kind of silicone spray, corrosion type spray on board.

Throw a small 2X4 in your storage hatch to help remove the prop. A guy at the ramp sliced his hand open trying to break the old one loose. Bad Stuff!
I haven't had good dealings with those prop wrenches and carry a ratchet/socket.

Oh yeah, I keep water always on the boat, and I change it out every time it goes out. That was one excellent thing to be said. Thank you.

if the hub is to far gone like mine was once, you would have to put it in gear & to be safe,remove your lanyard.
