My prop hubs last about a year..... so I now keep an extra on board, just for that reason ...... just spun one just last monht while I was in a rush

There was a post on TOB about someone spinning their prop between the jetties and being in harms way. Mike in Friendswood rescued them with a tow to the yacht basin.

.....and it takes up a heck of a lot less room in a small flats boat with little storage.

We changed the prop on a Suzuki 250 engine 110 miles offshore! Sure didn't want to drop that prop nut!!!

We put wire cutters in the new boat too, after a bad run in with a submerged abandoned crab trap.
