    every dog has its day

    I entered in a raffle this weekend to help out the Rosenberg Masonic Scholarship fundraiser and for $5 I got a brand spanking new Curado E7 on an 6'-6" AR H3 titanium Wader. Not a bad way to spend five bucks. Now I am off to Academy to get some PP for it.

    Which will cost more than what you paid for the rod & reel still a heck of a deal!! I love the one I stole from my Dad he doesn't know it yet but I told him its mine... Been sitting in the box for over 3 months... Temptation got the best of me and I spooled her up

          That Calcutta is in the shop. I haven't heard back from him on how much its going to cost to get it fixed up. He's had it for a week already. I don't know if thats good or bad.

            Not good-I didn't care for that reel when I bought it new. Never was any better than an Amb. 5000c (old one). Hope it works ok for ya and enjoy that new reel you won!! Next time I need to buy a raffle ticket, I'm gonna get you to get it for me, I'll pay!! Lucky !!

                That's a nice little combo right there! I haven't tried the new curado or citica out yet. Have you tried suffix yet? I fish with both but prefer suffix because I can cast further and it seems to almost never backlash. Let us know how that H3 works out

                  never tried suffix. I am a powerpro guy though. already spooled her up last night.

                  once I put it all together, I went to a detention pond that's holding water just to get some cast's in, this combo is freaking light. I got good distance out of my cast but since the pp is still new, its a little stiff and was scared to really fling it but very pleased with the combo. I had been wanting one for a long time now.
