Flag raising this weekend at Blockade Runners

Well, we're going to be working on the back room (notice I didn't say missing room) and getting some things set for one of the 2 missing porches. The winds look high, but hopefully by Sunday they won't be too harsh for the flag raising. I've got the flag pole base ready to be bolted on. Hope to see some of y'all out there. Mike and I should arrive at the launch around 10-11am.

I'm worried that the winds may be too high to fish the lights tomorrow night, but that don't mean we won't have fun. I could use a night without the generator.

Well I have the yak loaded in the truck and I'm getting ready for a cool and windy paddle out. If I can slip through the blockade unnoticed I should be there bright and squirrelly Sunday morning. BTW I'll be bringing a resupply of beer along as part of my cargo.

WhoooHooooHoooooo. Today's launch has been delayed. (Sound familiar Bountyhunter?) It's too darn cold out there for me to load up without gettin' chilled. I'm delaying the launch until noonish. Winds should be whippin! And I was stupid enough to put away my cold weather stuff on Monday. Duuuuuuuhhhhh.

I just got home from Blockade Runners and the Stars and Bars is once more flying proudly over the dock. I'll let Coach and 007 fill everyone in on the rest and post the pictures. It was a great evening and morning spent out there, and thanks once more 007 for the sea rescue......
