Guys, I'm way too tired to give a full report. BH, go ahead and post the pics. No need to resize here.
I have some other pics I'll hopefully post tomorrow. Sure was great having you out again Derek. I would be remiss if I didn't thank 007, dbarham, and his buddy for busting their humps today. We got a LOT done.
Sure was special to see that very special flag flying again. I'll tell its story tomorrow. It could not have happened without everyone who has pitched in, and I sure do offer all of you a heartfelt thanks. - Sandy
PS: Lurefisher, waddya think about doin' the roof on the 18th and 19th of April? From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

All the fish were caught on Calcasieu Brew Bass Assassins.......Originally posted by 007 View PostWe had to run to the far North end of Bastrop just to find some water that wasn't chocolate. The bite was slow but it was there.

Finished framing the floor in the back room and decked the whole thing. Coach and Glen set the last 2 piling jacks and dbarham and his buddy helped me frame and deck another 15' of porch on the North side of the camp. It was a very productive Sunday.Originally posted by TMO View PostNice work guys, hope to get out this weekend to help out!!!!I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

Your making me jealous.
It's looking great. I'm sure you are feeling proud. What are the future plans and approximate times?
Also, you may want to put out a wish list of things you may need. Someone on board may have it sitting in their garage. Who knows.
BTW, the lights are awesome. I have a PAR can as well, and those things are great!

Get that bathtub at home fixed before your wife fixes you Bro!
Torque, approximate times are difficult to pin down, so these are very approximate:
This coming weekend: Frame the no longer missing room and haul more trash home. Use jack pilings to level the place out.
April 11th and 12th: Bring a load of roofing supplies. We have 30 sheets of marine plywood to bring out there and lurefisher has the shingles and felt. April 12th is Easter, so I know most people won't be able to make it out, but we could use help getting it all out there. Coordinate with lurefisher if you can help with this stuff.
April 25th and 26th: The roof
After that weekend we'll be working on the outer walls, replacing what needs to be replaced and continuing to haul trash away from the place.
The final exterior stage will be painting the outside.
After this, we really have to get to work pulling down the other camp on Cold Pass and Churchill Bayou. That is when I'll be calling on every available hand during the months of May and June. Our deadline for having it gone is July 5th.
When that monkey is off our back, we'll be finishing out the interior with interior wall board from TMO. We can then think about what we want to do with the floors. I'm thinking linoleum.
At present, I do not know what materials to call for. Perhaps 007 can chime in. I have to head to lunch duty. - SandyFrom 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
