Thanks to Unclehandy & Redfish Rob for helping me last night
I'm at 17 hours on the engine so it was time for the fluids it comes from the factory with to be flushed out and some new oil to be put in.
I stopped at the auto parts store yesterday and grabbed 1 Quart of 30W Non-Detergent Motor Oil (For Transmission) and 1 Quart of 5W30 Mobil 1 Synthetic Motor Oil (Engine).
After taking two bolts out I removed the protective cover from the rear of the motor revealing the belt and Transmission. Two small phillips head bolts held the fluid inside and once removed & drained I quickly realized I was without the proper tools.
A quick run back to the auto parts store for a small oil can solved the problem and after filling it with the Non Detergent Motor Oil I filled the Transmission back up with a few pumps from the can flushed out any old fluid that might have been remaining and put the bolts back in.
We removed the engine drain plug and drained the engine oil, added some new oil and we let that move through the engine to flush out the old and then put the drain plug back on and recommenced filling.
I forgot the tube of Aqua Plex grease for the lower unit at the house and also realized after draining the oil that I needed more than 1 Quart (1.5 is needed) so I'm going to finish up later today
Now that I am prepared it should only take 15 minutes to complete the whole service when I reach 30 hours.
