You didn't miss much. A little work and a lot of rework. Frame a deck, unframe a deck, reframe a deck, you know the drill. Maybe someday someone will invent pictures or maybe a drawing of what they are thinking when building stuff.
I did get my morning workout dragging oo7's boat a half mile across a sand flat. It's funny that his boat runs skinnyer than mine, but my arms hurt the day after he shows me.
It's all good and if I didn't have something to gripe about then I wasn't there! It was good meeting you guys as well.

Sure was great to have everyone over on Sat. night. A full house of scurvy pirates . . . er, I mean Privateers
. dbarham and lurefisher sorry I was asleep when y'all skinned out. I gotta say that those steaks were AWESOME! The best I've ever had outside of Charlie's Steakhouse in New Orleans. The leftover pieces you left were just as good, if not better for dinner last night. It was good to meet CAZ that afternoon too. Sorry it was such a dreary day.
Thank you Boom for helping do the halting work on Sunday. 007 just doesn't LISTEN to me! But I think he's trying to do so now. Monday was a gorgeous day. 007 and I found fish in Tit-Tat and Bastrop Bay. Mike caught a tourney winner 27.75 inch FAT red. It was such a beautiful day that I said, "Dude, you know we don't HAVE to go home today." So there it was. We said scraw it and spent another day out there. We did have to make a quick run to the Sea Isle grocery for 007's nicotine sticks. Then we got the final piling in for the porch.
We set up Boom's light around dinner time and the fishing never turned on. We did have some excitement last night when 007 saw flared shot off and a Coast Guard helicopter searching around. I dialled 911 and the Brazoria County operator thanked us for the help in directing the 'copter, but it was the CG sending up the flares to illuminate the bays. Turns out some kid out in a boat was missing. We had seen him running Tit-Tat and Cold Pass earlier that day. We never found out if he was found safe and sound. Today was kind of dreary, but much warmer.
I'm trying to get Tom to join in over here too. Thanks again all who came. Next trip is Fri-Sat-Sun this weekend. All are invited. We gotta get that front porch done and up.From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
