  • Tails and Tunes whoops maybe?

So I was wondering why the weigh master was weighing trout that were less than 18" and didnt know a thing about the 18" min till about 2:30ish? Is it possible he didnt not know? Or did he know and was purely weighing stringers just for the heck of it for participants to see how much they had for the day. Im curious

    Thoughts?
    Speculation?

    2011 Rules and Regulations

    Limits:
    · A full stringer will consist of five (5) fish, to include three (3) trout and two (2) redfish.
    · Trout must be 18 inches minimum, limit three (3). You may only weigh in one (1) 25”+ trout per team

      Who knows.

I seriously doubt it had any effect on the teams that finished in the money.

I just assumed he was allowing close fish on stringers that were definitely not in top 10?

Yea that I dont doubt. Not trying to take anything away from our guys or my cousin etc but just the idea warrants some questions and answers at least. i know there were some not so happy people regarding the issue

There was nothing wrong with any of the weighing or measuring that I saw looked first class... Perhaps better to put comments like that in an e-mail to the tournament director or weigh master. If you have a protest, protest it at the event. A lot of things can get misinterpreted online.
