I'll be doing the same as Booyah, but I call my place a fishin' camp.
My dad's coming in from New Orleans and we'll pass a good time. If you don't like crowds, stay away from SLP. The place is a zoo during Spring Break.
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Gonna take the wife and kids to drown some shrimp. I hate crowds too, but my 2 year old wants "go shishing in daddy's boat"! He and his sister have been practicing in yard with their poles. My 6 year old girl is getting good with her zebco, and casting across the street into the neighbors yard. Might get her some fly lessons from Capt. Steve next year! ; )Scott

A wise old man once told me..."Fresh is for drinking and salt is for fishing". I'm gonna follow his advice on this one too. Much like chasing the elusive spotted sea trout in our coastal waters, the further south along the coastline you go, the better your chance for catching a wall hanger. Same goes for those land locked snapper(SPI).Originally posted by WestEndAngler View PostFreshwater? I'm in
