Just a heads up before you make the run....So we decided to duck out of the wind and head back to the canals between Caranchua and Alligator Point. We get over there and in the main canal, about 75 yards back there was installed a barricade all the way across so apparently you can no longer access the back part, unless you enter through Karankawa Lake, and the smaller lake that was breached during Ike. This is F***ed up
...anyone know who did this and if it's legal? I was wondering if Army Corps had their hands in it, or was it the Karankawa duck guys. Man this sucks as that USED to be one of my favorite places to drift in colder months when it was windy.
