  • coastal flooding ??

    i saw this on a weather site. is this for real? do i need to get somebody to raise my boat? the bay was empty yesterday.

    Did they make that statement because of the heavy rains? I don't think the tides will be effected or water level since it was so far out yesterday.

    I was taking the boat to Port Neches and saw 4 stuck boats in Wallisville I laughed because I would not have taken anything out besides an airboat yesterday where these guys were!

      I think most of the issue is wind driven water. The tide is high right now but it's not ridiculous. Probably a foot and a half or so above normal.

        Mike i wonder if they got that boat at the mouth of the diversionary?If not that babby is gone with this wind!
